With a focus this time on the tricky art of leading music at Mass, Pat Keady and the team of talented musicians, vocalists & songwriters of emmanuelworship are offering practical training, teaching, tips & tools for your parish or school’s team in a hands-on workshop style. Bring your instrument, fingers, drumsticks, voice, whatever it is you do! These days are an exciting time to connect with other young Catholic muso’s from around the country, learn effective tools to grow in your musical gifts, how to work as part of a team, and catch a common vision for bringing a new song and sound into our Church. 

James Garrahy is the founder of emmanuelworship, the band whose original ‘FireMass’ setting was used recently at the Archdiocesan Youth Day Mass in Brisbane for the WYD Cross and Icon. He has a dream to resource and empower the local church. James has worked with a variety of groups across Australia and New Zealand, facilitating dynamic sessions about Liturgy, Music and the Christian Journey. He is an energizing and engaging speaker that will encourage you in your life walk and empower you to take up the challenge of the new song in your local setting.
A prolific songwriter and worship leader, ‘God Will Make a Way’ and ‘Angels All Around’ are just two of James’ compositions from the recent emmanuelworship album Revolution. James currently teaches at St Augustines College, Springfield, where he continues to inspire students to bring a new sound and song to the Mass.

Time: 10am - 4pm
Cost: $25 each, $20 for groups of 5+. Lunch and afternoon tea provided.
