emmanuelworship are emerging as one of the leading voices of contemporary Catholic Music in Australia. Our latest release 'Rivers & Rivers Youth' comes on the back of our two studio albums 'Justice+Praise' & 'Revolution'. Schools and dioceses around the country are using our music to breathe new life into liturgies, assemblies, youth concerts and camps. As well as performing regularly at the national IGNITE Conference, we offer 'Beat' Training Days in schools/parishes and each summer host the annual BEAT School of Music. WHO WE ARE More than a band, emmanuelworship is the worship ministry of the Emmanuel Community a Catholic mission community in Australia whose vision is to be a force for renewal in the Church and the world. This is where we stem from, where we draw our life and find our mission to renew the Church through the incredible power of music and worship.Emmanuel means 'God is with us' so our music is all about proclaiming to the world 'We're not alone! In Jesus God has come down to be with us'. Through our worship we want people to know and experience that God is with them. Simple, but powerful. OUR VISION is to 'broadcast praise' and bring a river of worship flowing into the dry places of the Church and of peoples hearts:
"See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland. I provide water in the desert and streams in the wasteland, to give drink to my people, my chosen. The people I formed for myself will broadcast my praise." - Isaiah 43 ![]() The way we do this is by using our gifts of singing, playing and songwriting to worship our awesome God and teach others to do the same. We play at Emmanuel Youth Outreach (EYO) events like the monthly FUEL praise & worship nights in Brisbane. We also travel to play at events hosted by other parishes and dioceses, such as the SET FREE youth conference in New Zealand. But underneath our outreach is a continual ministry to our own community leading worship at prayer gatherings and celebrations of weekly Eucharist.
"And I saw water flowing from under the threshold of the temple..." (Ezekiel 47) |
